Refocus

Images and projections by pupils, students, and undergraduates from across Portsmouth. All the city's educational establishments have remained open for learning over the last year and our young artists have had to contend with making art in a more isolated way.

To bring this work together, a small number of buildings, galleries and institutions have agreed to screen the art pieces as projections across our city. This work reflects how artwork and learning was reset, as a more digital exercise during the pandemic.

We are delighted to showcase original artwork from Kikaaya College School in Uganda too.  The school are 'Partners in Learning' with The Portsmouth Grammar School.  They too have experienced lockdown and huge challenges and changes due to Covid, so, like us are also ready to 'Remember, Reimagine, Reset' in their lives and communities.
