Black Dyke Band

The Black Dyke Band will be performing at the Kings Theatre on 2nd July 2022 with the pupils from The Portsmouth Grammar School, as part of Ports Fest 2022.

The Black Dyke Band represents the very finest achievements of Brass Band playing. They continually strive to improve their musicianship and performances, so that audiences around the world can enjoy the glorious tradition of Brass Band music.

Despite a proud heritage traceable to the Victorian age, the Black Dyke Band has always kept an eye to the future: encouraging new players, new music and new interpretations of old classics. They recognise and honour the past, but want to remain a contemporary musical ensemble, committed to delivering the very highest quality musical experience for their listeners.
